Adjunct Instructor and GIS Analyst

I have worked for the State of Utah for the past 16 1/2 years, 15 at the AGRC and for the last 3 months at the Division of Oil, Gas, & Mining. One night a week I teach basic Physical Geography for SLCC. I graduated from the University of Utah in 1997 with a Bachelors and again in 2005 with my Masters Degree. Both in Geography with an emphasis in GIS. I bleed "red". "Go Utes".

My passion in my professional life is to bring geospatial technology and science to the K-12 classroom. This technology would be used by teachers and students to improve their understanding of the world and its spatial surroundings.

I have been married for 32 years to Allen Clark, who is a retired firefighter. He occasionally substitutes for specific classes in the Canyons and Jordan Districts. Students love him when he subs in their class. He also does volunteer work for the State Archives.

I have one son, Ben, who is a head electrician for a traveling Disney Musical Show. Ben has traveled around the world in his profession, learning about the people and places he has visited. He has been working in theater since he was 13, starting at the Draper Theater.
