In our crazy rushed world of education, we are forgetting some of the "Finer Arts" of life. This session will help you inspire the budding musicians in your class. Students can discover music theory and enjoy the process. Your time will be spent enjoying student created music. I will present two free programs that unlock students' musical abilities. Get your students started, and the programs will basically teach themselves. You will even enjoy a chance to create your own music. SongSmith is a program that creates an accompaniment to what you sing. MuseScore is a program that helps you notate and play your musical creations. Both programs can be downloaded freely. I recommend you come and see what they can do for you.
