Ipods and Reading Fluency

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This is a presentation of an ongoing project at Stansbury Elementary using the ipod touch device to support students in improving their reading skills by reading aloud, recording and assessing their own fluency, and saving their best products to a smart playlist. This project mimics one used in the Canby School District in Oregon. The presenters include the school technology specialist who administers the project and a classroom teacher.
Participants will hear about the project, create and record themselves reading text and will save their "best" recording in a smart playlist.
