Read&Write GOLD – Everyday Academic Supports… without the “Social Anxiety”

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will provide an introduction to Read&Write GOLD’s comprehensive, flexible literacy support software. Designed under the principles of Universal Design for Learning it benefits all students with a wide-range of learning abilities. We will demonstrate success stories and an overview of this award-winning program and its suite of Cloud-based Web Apps.

The customizable toolbar integrates directly with commonly-used applications, including Word, IE, Safari, Google Docs, and Adobe Reader; allowing students to work within familiar environments as well as on mobile devices. This discrete floating toolbar allows the student to continue to work in programs they use every day so that they can confidently succeed in a comfortable learning environment.

Read&Write GOLD benefits every learner, as it assists with reading, writing, researching, and studying – all in one cost-effective solution. Educators can meet the needs of diverse student populations, including: individuals with reading and writing difficulties; students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia; English Language Learners. Some key features include: text-to-speech with highlighted text; word prediction; study skills highlighters and exporting bibliography sources; organizing research and sources; visual brainstorming and mapping and converting text to audio.

Due to Read&Write GOLD’s open environment, schools and districts are able to implement a powerful toolbar to all students with ease. No special tools or conversions are needed - thereby saving time and money.

Attendees will receive a free 30-day trial of the software and be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift card.
