Managing and Supporting iPads in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

More and more iOS devices are showing up in classrooms around the state. Managing these tools on a one by one basis is fine when you have just a handful, but how to you manage a lab set (or two) of 40? If every teacher in the school has an iPad, how can you handle the purchase and licensing of apps for each individual?

Join me today and we’ll discuss the tools available to you handle the initial setup and user profile management and syncing of iOS devices - including the set up of wireless networks & email - even turning off the App Store and iTunes for purchases. We’ll also discuss the Volume Purchasing Program that Apple has in place that will not only help you manage the purchase and distribution of apps, but could also save some money by buying apps in bulk at a 50% discount. We’ll also discuss the use of iCloud to handle syncing and backup of these devices without ever needing to connect them to a computer.
